Shipping and Returns

General Shipping Terms

  • All orders will leave Tadpole Children's Shoppe within 1-5 business days unless noted on the website or our shipping department contact you by email or phone regarding a delay.
  • We provide free shipping on orders of $100 of more (before taxes and shipping) in Canada excluding remote and difficult to serve locations (more information below)
  • Orders below $100 are subject to a shipping fee based on destination as detailed below.

Note: All Shipping fees are subject to change. Orders may require an additional shipping charge depending on the weight and dimensions of the order. Customers will be contacted prior to shipping if there will be an additional shipping fee.

 

Canadian Shipping Details

tadpoleshoppe.com will ship orders Free within Canada (excluding remote and difficult to serve locations listed below) with a minimum purchase of $100 before taxes via Courier. Orders under the $100 minimum will be charged the following rates:

BC, AB, MB, SK:  $12
ON and QB:  $10
NB, NS, PEI, NL:  $12
NU, NT, YT: Difficult to serve location (see below)

Difficult to Serve Locations

Certain areas within Canada require additional delivery time and charges due to less frequent delivery by Courier. Orders shipping to Postal Codes starting with A0, X, and Y are not identified to be "air stage locations" by Courier, are not eligible for free shipping and are subject to a $30 shipping fee.

Remote Locations

Couriers refer to most "remote" locations as "Air Stage Locations" because mail must be airlifted to these locations. Remote postal codes are not eligible for Free Shipping. The following shipping charges will be applied to remote areas in Canada.

$40 for orders under $99.99
$60 for order between $100 and $249.99
$85 for orders between $250 and $499.99
$125 for orders between $500 and $749.99
$175 for orders between $750 and $1000
$225 for orders over $1000

Shipment Receipt Guidelines:

Before accepting delivery of your order, please examine the package(s) carefully. Do not accept any packages that have been damaged during shipping.

If your order requires a signature please ensure that the number of packages are correct and the packages are not damaged. Unfortunately, if you sign for a damaged or partial shipment the Courier insurance will not cover your shipment. 

Immediately open and examine your package to ensure you were shipped the correct items. If there are any damages or missing products please report within 24 hours by contacting nimira@tadpoleshoppe.com and provide your order number and date of purchase.

 


Delivery Timeline

Most in-stock orders will be processed and shopped within 1-5 business days of receipt. Sometimes items that were thought to be in stock are unavailable at the time of shipping. You will be notified by email or by phone if your order will be delayed.



Cancelled Orders

If you have placed an order with tadpoleshoppe.com and would like to cancel it please contact us at nimira@tadpoleshoppe.com within 2 hours of placing the order. Although unlikely, if we are unable to prevent shipment please follow the return instructions below.


Return Policy

If you would like to return items purchased from tadpole shoppe.com you have up to the 30 days from the date of delivery to return unopened items. All products must be in the original packaging; all original documents, parts and accessories must be included. The product MUST BE in saleable condition with no indication of use. Orders that qualified for free shipping are allowed one free return through Courier once the return request has been processed. Any additional returns will be at the purchaser's expense once the return request has been processed. After 6 months all sales are final. All clearance items are final and may not be returned or exchanged. We cannot accept returns from products in the following department: 
The following items are non-returnable/refundable: 
  • diapers and diaper accessories
  • hair clips and hair accessories
  • speciality knit and fashion hats, tutus, and bloomers
  • swim wear
  • breast pumps and accessories
  • all nursing clothing including bras and all personal care accessories
  • any items marked as non-returnable on the product pages
  • all clearance items marked as final sale
  • special orders
If you would like to make a return request, please email nimira@tadpoleshoppe.com with your order number and the date of your order.


Damaged Items: 

Damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order. Please take a picture of the damage prior to opening the package. Notify tadpoleshoppe.com by emailing nimira@tadpoleshoppe.com with the damage details and a picture of the damage. 


Order Pick-Up

Orders are generally available for pick-up within 2 business days. Tadpole Children's Shoppe will contact the purchaser through mail or phone to notify them when their order is ready to be picked up.
Photo identification is required when picking up an online order. We can be contacted directly by mailing to nimira@tadpoleshoppe.com or by calling 519-725-7653. Please have your order number and the date of your order available.
